Cold-Weather Wines

Once the holidays settle, relax with a glass of wine (or three) at Puritan & Company’s Mountain Wines of Italy Dinner on Wednesday, January 7th. To survive in the cool climates of Italy’s mountainous north (at least 1,000 feet above sea level), grapes need plenty of sun and protection from the elements. Their unlikely circumstances create complex, elegant wines perfect for winter. Taste the unique terroirs of Marco Sara, Furlani and Diego Curtaz alongside chef Will Gilson’s four farm-to-table courses for $95 per person. Dinner begins at 7:00pm and you can email Peter Nelson, Puritan & Company’s wine director, to make your reservation.
