Oktoberfest Sausagefest

Brasserie 28 and Jack’s Abby Brewing join forces to throw their first ever Oktoberfest Sausagefest on Sunday, October 6th. From 2:00 to 6:00pm, guests will get to sample the homemade sausages from chef Michael Sherman (Brasserie 28), Dante de Magistris (dante), Brian Young (Post 390), Matt O’Neill (The Blue Ox), Chris Cronin (Washington Square Tavern) and Brian Poe (Poe’s Kitchen and the Tip Tap Room) along with the perfect pairing of one of Jack’s Abby’s eight lagers. Guests will then get to vote for whose sausage-brew pair is the best. In lieu of a standard ticket price, attendees are asked to make a donation to the Greater Boston Food Bank, which will be collected at the door. Visit their website for every last delicious detail, and if this nudges you in the direction of Andover, Brasserie 28 chef-owner Matt Morello has invited his friends from The Alchemist (the Waterbury, VT brewpub known for its hard-to-come by Heady Topper IPA) and they generally don’t travel light.
