Giving Back & Getting Fed

Even as the weather cools, Ashmont Grill carries on its weekly tradition of combining gastronomy and generosity at their Monday Night Wine Club. Every week, chef-owner Chris Douglass and Beverage Manager Tara Riordan put their heads together to pair a succession of small plates with wines (or another featured bottle of booze). The communal (and convivial) evenings cost just $38 per person and a portion of the proceeds ($5 from each dinner generally) will be donated to a Dorchester-based non-profit (like Future Chefs, Ashmont Nursery School or the James Chittick School, to cite a few recent examples). Call 617.825.4300 soon to reserve your spot - and do your neighborly duty.
