The Butcher Shop's Beefy CSA

Summer’s winding down but there are still plenty of good grilling days in the months ahead so be sure you’re well stocked with fresh-from-the-farm meats courtesy of The Butcher Shop’s CSA. For September they’ll be featuring beef from Hanson & Roberts Farm in Gilbertville, Massachusetts. Opt for a full ($280) or half ($140) share to get weekly bundles of meaty goodness – ready-to-cook steaks, hamburgers, hot dogs and house-made goodies like beef bacon and smoked brisket chili. To get your share, call 617.423.4800 and ask for the butcher.

Sunday, September 2nd – Demonstration (1:00pm)
Gather round the butcher block to watch Calvin Hayes break down the cow.

Thursday through Saturday, September 6th-8th – Pick Up
Drop by to pick up ribeye, strip steak, tenderloin steak, steak tartare and shish kabobs

Thursday through Saturday, September 13th-15th – Pick Up
Drop by to pick up hamburgers, all-beef hot dogs and kielbasa sausage

Thursday through Saturday, September 20th-22nd - Pick Up
Drop by to pick up smoked brisket chili, Bolognese sauce and beef bacon
