Bargain Bites - Unbelievable dining deals at Boston's best restaurants
Brasstacks, the secret dining society from restaurant pros Matthew Schrage and Marc Sheehan, is celebrating a year of swanky, sold-out pop-up dinners with a pop-up block party at Formaggio. On Monday, July 30th, Schrage (of The Hawthorne) and Sheehan (formerly of Menton and Blue Hill at Stone Barns in New York) will be roasting whole pigs and goats, and putting out tons of inventive (but barbecue-appropriate) sides. They’ve also asked their friends at Pretty Things Beer and Ale Project to bring beer and the folks at Olmstead Wine Co. are supplying the wine. Tickets, which always go really quickly, cost $75 each. Get in on the good time (which starts at 6:30pm at Formaggio’s Cambridge location) by reserving tickets online asap.
