The Reef Gets a Barbara Lynch Make-Over

Two stalwart Boston institutions are joining forces; Barbara Lynch and the New England Aquarium are collaborating on a new menu for The Reef, the Aquarium’s outdoor restaurant and bar. Now visitors and natives alike can take in views of Boston Harbor while they tuck into Lynch’s versions of classic New England summer fare – seasonal salads and sandwiches, skewers and some snacks for the kids as well as classics like clam chowder and a lobster roll (just like this one from B&G Oysters). For the Boston-born-and-raised Lynch, whose empire includes No. 9 Park, B & G Oysters, The Butcher Shop, Sportello and Menton, not to mention Drink, 9 at Home or Stir, the partnership was a no-brainer. And it’s just the beginning – Lynch will soon be expanding her involvement to include menu design and oversight for the Aquarium’s in-house catering. Don’t wait until you have out-of-towners in tow to get down to Central Wharf. Pop in after work for a drink (did we mention that Lynch and her team are also overseeing the bar program?
