Irish Eyes are Smiling at The Beehive

If you're looking to avoid the more, shall we say, conventional St. Patrick's Day festivities (read: green beer), head to The Beehive on Thursday, March 15th for an authentic celebration (i.e. with the blessings of the Boston Irish Tourism Association). Chef Rebecca Newell will put her own spin on traditional Irish fare like corned beef and cabbage, fish and chips and colcannon to ensure that you're full up on Emerald Isle eats. They'll also have some fun Jameson cocktails to liven things up. And, being The Beehive, they've got to have a little music to go along with the evening - The Ivy Leaf, a traditional Irish quartet from Boston, will serenade diners. There's no cover for all this Kelly green fun, but reservations are a good idea if you plan to stay for dinner - get them by calling 617.423.0069.
