This year for their sixth annual cook-off, the team at dante challenges a whole host of talented cookers to take down last year’s winner with their most delicious doughy pocket of goodness at the Unknown Calzone Dethrone. Clear the afternoon of Sunday, November 18th - the fun starts at 2:00pm on dante’s riverside patio and runs until 5:00pm or until you’ve had your fill of meat, poultry, seafood or veggie-filled calzones from chefs like Jamie Bissonnette (Coppa and Toro), Anthony Caturano (Prezza), Evan Deluty (Stella), Dante de Magistris (dante and Il Casale), Louis DiBiccari (Storyville), Jason Santos (Blue Inc.), Dan Raia (Sweet Cheeks), Brian Anderson (Market), Mary Dumont (Harvest), Colin Lynch (Menton), Anthony Mazzotta (Catalyst), John Rush (Church), Matthew Morello (Brasserie 28), Brian Dandro (ArtBar) and Josh Ziskin (La Morra). Tickets for the rain or shine event cost $20 each.
