Get Fired Up for Chefs in Shorts
The season's most anticipated tasting event is approaching - the fourteenth annual Chefs in Shorts is scheduled for Friday, June 24th at the Seaport Hotel. The rain-or-shine grill-off features more than forty chefs from all over the city, each of whom will be firing up his or her grill and serving signature barbecued creations. The grills will be going from 7:00-9:30pm, so get your ticket and get to the upper level viaduct at the Seaport (just follow the grill smoke) to try tastes from 51 Lincoln, Ashmont Grill, Avila, Bambara, Bond, Bokx 109, Bricco, Church, Davio's, KO Prime, Market, The Metropolitan Club, Pairings, Pigalle, Poe's Kitchen, Regal Beagle, Tavolo, Top of the Hub and Turner Fisheries, among lots and lots of others. Tickets cost $60 each (which also includes complimentary beer and wine), and proceeds support the Greater Boston Food Bank's efforts to end hunger in eastern Massachusetts.
