Craft Burgers from Cafe Fleuri

As of Monday, March 21st, Cafe Fleuri may become Downtown’s new go-to burger joint. Chef Mark Sapienza will be unveiling five innovative burgers topped with and accompanied by all sorts of locally grown goodies – from the beef in the patties to the cheese on top. Here’s a little taste of some of what he’s got planned: the Farmstead burger is made from Northeast Family Farms beef and served with Vermont goat cheese, Backyard Farm tomatoes, house-made pickle chips, flash fried onions, and shredded lettuce in buttermilk ranch dressing; and the Nor’easter is an eight ounce burger topped with warm lobster meat, Kate’s Homemade Butter, tarragon, tomatoes, butter lettuce, and natural sea salt from Maine Sea Salt Company. Next time you get a burger craving (provided it’s between the hours of 11:30am and 2:00pm, head for the Langham – just call 617.451.1900 to be sure they’re holding a table for you.
