Third generation winemaker Antonio Argiolas, whose grandfather founded Cantina Argiolas, makes an appearance stateside at Tomasso Trattoria on Tuesday, September 14th. Those in attendance will get to taste some of Italy's finest as paired with five courses from the masterful Justin Melnick. He's got a menu of epic Italian proportion planned - spicy fish and tomato stew with garlic crostino; spaghettini pasta with fresh shaved bottarga and olive oil; and roasted half lobster with lemon, parsley and bread crumbs. Each course of the $65 dinner will be paired with a little something form the Sardinian winery. Sign on for the dinner, which start at 7:15pm, by calling 508.481.8484. Or, if you'd like to sample the wines and see what you're in for, get to neighboring Panzano Povviste e Vino between 5:00 and 7:00pm for a free tasting.
