Paul Wahlberg's New Waterfront Restaurant

His two brothers, Mark and Donnie, may have channeled their creative energies onto the stage and the screen, but Paul Wahlberg expresses his creativity in the kitchen. The longtime chef at Bridgeman's, Wahlberg has just opened his first solo endeavor, Alma Nove, a Mediterranean restaurant on the waterfront at the Hingham Shipyard. The restaurant, which is named after the Wahlbergs' mother Alma and her nine (nove in Italian) offspring, serves a menu of antipasti, pastas, seafood and wood-grilled meats. They're just open for dinner now but they'll be adding lunch at the beginning of the summer so they can take full advantage of their wrap-around patio. Book a table in the dining room or catch the game on one of the two 50 inch flat screens in the bar and lounge. To be among the first to check out this new kid on the block, call 781.749.3353 for a table.
