33 Restaurant & Lounge
From Friday, February 12th through Sunday, February 14th the team at 33 Restaurant & Lounge will be serving a sweetheart inspired menu that’ll make you and your cutie swoon. Chef Nuno Alves’s menu (which includes dishes like seared duck breast with pink lentils and pomegranate glaze; and rosé poached pear finished with hibiscus, mint and crème fraîche) costs $85 per person (or $125 with wines). Couples will receive a box of handmade truffles to take home and the ladies will all get red roses. If you really want to do it up, call ahead to ask about adding extras (like champagne service or having a dozen long stem roses delivered to your table). In honor of Valentine’s Day, Alta Strada is offering a prix fixe in addition to their a la carte menu. Chef-owner Michael Schlow will be channeling all his romantic energy into the three-course menu, which includes delicacies like chilled lobster salad with citrus, basil and mache; and potato gnocchi with wild boar in chocolate and toasted pine nuts. Celebrate Valentine’s Day and Chinese New Year in one fell swoop at Blue Ginger. Lovebirds can live it up at the Langham all weekend long this Valentine’s Day. With three locations, the folks at the Franklin can afford to have a few different types of Valentine’s Day celebrations – to fit every level of commitment and enthusiasm. At the original Franklin Café in the South End, chef Kelly Hartman and company will be serving a $50 four-course prix fixe on the day itself but on Monday, February 15th they’ll be hosting the mother of all Anti-Valentine’s Day. Garden at the Cellar
Cuddle up with your beloved at Garden at the Cellar. Chef Will Gilson’s $50 three-course menu matches the cozy setting with tasty crowd-pleasers like crispy pork belly and roasted sausage with lentils, cipollini onions and black trumpets; and  ricotta gnudi with poached free-range egg, braised wild mushrooms and brie cream. L’Espalier
Often referred to as one of the city’s most romantic dining destinations, L’Espalier welcomes lovebirds to join them for a weekend long celebration of l’amour. Chef-owner Frank McClelland and chef James Hackney have planned a number of ways to celebrate. On either Saturday or Sunday diners can enjoy a special Valentine’s lunch. They’ll be offering a prix fixe ($45) as well as a tasting menu ($65). From February 12th through February 14th, Sensing will be serving a four course prix fixe menu developed by chef de cuisine Gerard Barbin.
