On Thursday, June 11th the folks at Goodwill throw their annual Bubble-Q, an evening that combines some of this earth's most pleasurable epicurean experiences - barbeque, champagne and dessert - into one fantastic evening. The feasting, which takes place beneath a big tent at Goodwill Headquarters from 5:30 to 9:00pm, starts with a cocktail reception followed by dinner and dessert. Lending their support by means of their culinary creations and skillful bartending skills are restaurants like Ashmont Grill, Eastern Standard, Rialto, Rocca, Sel de la Terre, Tavolo and Tremont 647, among plenty of others. Lest you get wrapped up in the lavishness of it all, keep in mind: proceeds from the evening benefit Morgan Memorial Goodwill Industries and their efforts to provide job training and related services to people for whom work is a transforming experience.
