A Fond Farewell to Icarus

After 31 years serving some of the South End's most tasty and standard-setting food, Icarus will shut its doors on July 1st. Chef owner Chris Douglass, a proponent of giving up-and-coming neighborhoods their fair share of delicious dining establishments, will be focusing all his efforts on his two Dorchester based eateries - Ashmont Grill and Tavolo - but not before giving Icarus the send off it deserves. From June 1st through July 1st, the restaurant will be offering a special three course prix fixe menu featuring stand out dishes from the last three decades for only $31 per person. Book a table during the month of June to relive the glory days and pay your respects to a Boston institution - call 617.426.1790 for reservations.
