Don't worry about letting a single balmy summer evening slip by - the Boston Harbor Hotel has just re-launched their Summer in the City entertainment series so they've got something fun planned nearly every night of the week from now until September. On Tuesdays, groove to a little Summer Soul courtesy of 11 different R&B bands throughout the summer. Wednesdays offer the chance to relive the good old days (or get a start on creating some new memories) through a collection of Timeless Tunes from the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s. On Thursdays, groove to tunes from many a blues artist as they play from a floating stage for Blues Barge. Finally, on Fridays see a classic film al fresco with Movies by Moonlight which guests can view from the terrace of the Rowes Wharf Sea Grille. All of the events take place from 6:00 to 10:00pm with the exception of Movies by Moonlight which begin at dusk. Make a full evening of it and order dinner from chef Daniel Bruce's menu at the recently refurbished and re-opened Rowes Wharf Sea Grille (or enjoy the festivities as a spectator from the safe distance of Meritage's second floor dining room). Contact the Boston Harbor Hotel at 617.439.7000 for more information about any of the Summer in the City events (click here for the full schedule) or call Meritage at 617.439.3995 for reservations.
