Marliave Hosts Bertani Wine Dinner

On Wednesday, June 17th indulge in a special evening of food and wines unique to Italy as Marliave welcomes the folks from Bertani Vineyards in Northern Italy. Known especially for their premier Amarone, the Bertani representatives will bring along some of this prized varietal (including the famed '68, '75, and '76 vintages for a vertical flight to accompany the third course), and an assortment of other delicious wines including Ripasso and Recioto. Chef-owner Scott Herritt will be in the kitchen cooking up four courses to bring out the best in these fine wines, while Palm Bay Imports representative Paulo will also be on hand to talk about the featured wines. The dinner, which begins at 7:00pm and costs $59 per person, will be held on their newly opened patio, if the weather cooperates. To make a reservation, call Marliave at 617.422.0004.
