Chef Rob Evans - Beard's Best Chef Northeast

Congrats to Rob Evans of Hugo's in Portland, Maine who took home this year's James Beard Award in the Best Chef Northeast category. In beating out Boston-based chefs Marc Orfaly of Pigalle and Marco, Michael Leviton of Lumière and Persephone, and Tony Maws of Craigie Street Bistrot, Evans joins the ranks of some seriously talented chefs who've taken home the title in years passed - Todd English, Gordon Hamersley, Jody Adams, Lydia Shire, Barbara Lynch, Ana Sortun, Ken Oringer, Ming Tsai, Michael Schlow and Frank McClelland.
