Community Servings LifeSavor 2009

On Tuesday, March 31st Community Servings throws its 17th annual LifeSavor Spring Gala. Guests start the evening off at 5:30pm with a cocktail reception and silent auction at the Langham Hotel. When the dinner hour arrives, around 8:00pm, guests will be ushered via trolley to any one of this year's participating restaurants for a lovely meal. Among this year's eighty or so eateries - Avila, Azure, Beacon Hill Bistro, blu, The Blue Room, BOKX 109 American Prime, Bricco, Chez Henri, Clio, Craigie on Main, dante, Davio's, EVOO, Gourmet Caterers, Great Bay, Grill 23 & Bar, Hamersley's Bistro, Harvest, Icarus, KO Prime, Lineage, Meritage, The Metropolitan Club, No. 9 Park, Oleana, Olives, OM Restaurant & Lounge, Pigalle, Radius, Rialto, Rocca, Sasso, Sensing, Top of the Hub, Tremont 647, Union, UpStairs on the Square and Via Matta. After dinner guests can head back to the Langham for an elaborate after party featuring desserts from The Langham's famed Chocolate Bar. Tickets to the event can be purchased for either $200 (for the cocktail reception) or $300 (for the cocktail reception and dinner) by calling Community servings at 617.522.7777 or by going to their website. Proceeds from the event will enable Community Servings to provide home-delivered meals to people suffering from life-threatening illnesses.
