Take a Black Friday Break at Masa

Enjoy a relaxing reprieve from the Black Friday frenzy at Masa. Chef-owner Philip Aviles has created a two-course black-themed menu for both lunch and dinner so weary shoppers can stash their numerous bags under their respective tables while they dine on dishes like blackened pork shoulder with smoked gouda, pickled jalapeno and a spicy chipotle remoulade; or yucca enchiladas with toasted black sesame seeds and seasonal vegetables. Each course is paired with a beverage of the adult variety (try the sweet black tea margarita or the dark rum mojito). Lunch is a mere $15 and dinner just $25 so no matter how much you spent at the mall (or on Newbury Street, depending) you can still fit feeding yourself into the budget. Call Masa in the South End at 617.338.8884 or Masa Woburn at 781.938.8886 for more info or reservations.
