Natick, Meet the Met Bar & Grill

The Metropolitan Club, Chestnut Hill’s popular steakhouse with a twist, opens their new Natick restaurant this week. The cavernous Met Bar & Grill, with room for 265 people, brings the steakhouse concept down a notch featuring a gourmet burger bar filled with exotic and traditional takes on this beloved American classic. Chef Todd Winer, working with his trademarked vertical grill, uses the finest ingredients he can get his hands on to create regionally inspired burgers like the Rome burger that’s covered in Bolognese and parmesan; or the Tokyo Burger made with Kobe beef, Munster cheese, avocado, red onion and sticky soy sauce. Guests who’re feeling creative can build their own burgers, choosing from traditional toppings and more adventuresome accompaniments like kimchi, truffle oil and pan seared foie gras. There’s more to the menu than burgers though – green tea cedar miso salmon, garlicky shrimp risotto and a whole butcher shop filled with handcut prime beef. Open for lunch and dinner, the Met Bar & Grill will no doubt be a welcome addition to the Natick dining scene. Call 508.651.0003 for reservations or for more information.
