Hojoko is hiring Sushi Chefs & Line Cooks. They’re a fun, high-energy izakaya located in The Verb Hotel in the Fenway Neighborhood of Boston.
Hojoko is hiring full-time PM sushi chefs and line cooks to execute a unique Japanese menu. PM cooks will be exposed to a variety of Japanese cooking techniques and ingredients.
They are looking for humble, ego-free individuals with a genuinely positive attitude and demeanor who are dependable, focused and hospitality-driven. A minimum of 1-2 years of experience is preferred, not required. If you are interested in becoming a sushi chef, but have no professional experience, they are willing to teach the right candidate.
Their restaurant culture emphasizes a high level of respect for each other and guests.
Shift is full time. They ask that applicants are flexible with late-night shifts, as the restaurant is open 7 days a week until 1:30am. Cab fare is provided for late-night cooks.
Pay is $15/hr and up, based on the level of experience and the position.
