Drink, their award-winning craft cocktail bar located in South Boston’s Fort Point neighborhood, is seeking a barback to join their team. The barback is responsible for preparing the “stocks,” “sauces,” and “mise” for Drink’s nightly cocktail party. During service, the Barback acts as a food runner and pinch hitter to the Apprentices and Bartenders by making sure ice, citrus, and liquor are in full supply. Ideal candidates will be cocktail enthusiasts with an appreciation for well-made drinks who are looking to learn more about the bartending craft. Above all, applicants should be dedicated, passionate, and disciplined in their work as well as share Barbara Lynch Gruppo’s commitment to hospitality and continued education. Naturally, evening and weekend availability is required.
