The team at Charter Oak Country Club is looking for a talented Sous Chef / Chef de Cuisine to run the members a la carte dining restaurant. The ideal candidate will be extremely qualified, with a background in upscale restaurant dining and an exceptional focus on hospitality. The position reports to the Executive Chef. Requirements: Must have a strong work ethic, creative, positive attitude, strong leadership skills and teaching skills for staff. Have the ability to maintain quality and consistency in dishes on a daily basis. Experience managing restaurant kitchen operations including hiring, training, scheduling and payroll budgeting. Comprehensive understanding of food costs and inventories. Ability to create seasonal menus for dining areas and keeping with current trends. Supervise organization and sanitation of kitchen and storage areas. They are looking for candidates who have longevity in their prior kitchen positions and have worked at well-regarded restaurants.
