What About Prom?

On Monday February 4th the Ladies United for the Preservation of Endangered Cocktails will also unite for the preservation of proms. That’s when they’re throwing their second annual under-the-sea-themed winter prom, Snow Ball, at Silvertone from 7:00 to 11:00pm. Unlike high school though, drinking is allowed, nay encouraged at this LUPEC party – four drink tickets are included in the $25 ticket price and glasses of spiked punch will be available at $5 for additional purchase (don’t worry, there’ll be snacks to soak up all that liquor too). Creative formal wear is encouraged (seriously – they’re awarding Best Dressed prizes and everything) as is dancing, which shouldn’t be a problem after a few drinks. Tickets are available on a first come, first served basis and all proceeds will be donated to The Breast Cancer Fund. In addition, if you bring an approved clothing item (see the list of what’s needed here) for donation to On The Rise, you’ll be given drink tickets commensurate with your donation. Don’t forget about prom – even if Blaine does. Make sure you’re there when doors open.
