Sip and snack, dine and do good—on Sunday, April 23rd the 27th annual Dinnerfest RED Party and Auction returns to the (appropriately named) Red Lantern for a night of raffle prizes and fundraising. From 3:00 to 6:00pm, you can enjoy hors d’oeuvres and signature cocktails while bidding on auction items like plane tickets and dinner tables. Participating spots like 80 Thoreau, Bambara, Bistro du Midi, Blue Ginger, Capo, Chiara, Cinquecento, Citizen, Coppersmith, Craigie on Main, Davio’s, The Fireplace, Gaslight, Grill 23, Harvest, Henrietta’s Table, La Morra, L’Andana, The Merchant, Mistral, Mooo, Ostra, o ya, The Painted Burro, Post 390, The Salty Pig, The Smoke Shop, Sorellina, South End Buttery, SRV, Sweet Cheeks Q, Tresca, Teatro, Temazcal, Tiger Mama, Top of the Hub and Townsman will have culinary packages on offer. This year’s event is co-chaired by Tiffani Faison (of Sweet Cheeks and Tiger Mama), Richard Gordon (of South End Buttery) and Scott Kearnan (of Zagat Boston and Improper Bostonian) and, as always, proceeds benefit Victory Programs’ mission to support those suffering from homelessness and substance abuse. Tickets for the gathering are $60 each online here, or $70 each at the door, and red attire is encouraged.
