The time is ripe to be eating your fruits and veggies and 80 Thoreau going all out with a completely meat-free version of their regular tasting menu. Snag a spot at the Chef’s Counter September 3rd-5th, 10th-12th and the 18th-19th to watch chef Carolyn Johnson put together the five-course menu, brimming with peak season ingredients from local farms like Blue Heron (Lincoln), Sweet Autumn (Carlisle), Applefield (Stow), First Root (Concord), Barrett’s Mill (Concord) and Verrill (Concord). The menu, priced at $65 per person, is available at two seatings – 5:45pm and 8:30pm on all eight nights. Each time slot is limited to just four guests and reservations are available by phone only.
