Tiki 101

Tiki is appropriate all year round, but the dead of Boston winter certainly calls for some extra island levity. Enter Todd Maul — the Café ArtScience partner and bar director is opening up a treasure chest of beverage secrets with his Tiki 101 class on Saturday, January 21st. The one-hour session, which starts at 4:00pm in Kendall Square, will cover tiki history, tiki cocktail theory, Maul’s favorite rums and home bar suggestions. Guests will get to enjoy complimentary bar snacks, sip on a flight of aged, white and navy-strength rums, as well learn how to mix one of Maul’s preferred tiki drinks at home. Tickets, available for $48 per person, can be purchased online here or by calling 857.999.2193.
