Chef Michael Scelfo welcomes his longtime friends (and chefs) Adam and Jackie Sappington to Alden & Harlow for the launch of their new cookbook on Thursday, October 8th. The husband-wife duo owns Portland, Oregon’s The Country Cat, a restaurant for which Adam received three James Beard Best Chef Northwest nominations (2012, 2013, 2014). The evening will feature recipes from the couple’s new cookbook Heartlandia: Heritage Recipes from Portland’s Country Cat, and guests will have the opportunity to purchase a copy.
