Stay Tasty, Somerville

Somerville Local First Facebook

The 2017 Taste of Somerville is stepping its game way up this year featuring more food and drink than ever before. On Wednesday, June 14th, the annual festival moves into new digs at the Nathan Tufts Park and ups its roster of participating chefs, restaurants and vendors to 60+. Sample them all (or as many of them as you can until you’re uncomfortably full) at the al fresco fest, which runs from 5:00-8:00pm. Keep an eye out for old and new faves like Bronwyn, Casa B, Daddy Jones Bar, Foundry On Elm, Gracie’s Ice Cream, Highland Kitchen, Juliet, Kirkland Tap & Trotter, Manoa Poke Shop, Redbones, River Bar, Roxy’s, Saloon and Tasting Counter among lots and lots of others. Tickets are $50, $15 for children for general admission, or $75 for the VIP treatment, which includes artisanal cocktails, oysters and high end bites. There’ll also be artist installations, a pop-up playground, lawn games and tunes by DJ Nate Bluhm. Proceeds support two non profits, The Somerville Home and the Walnut Street Center. Get all the details – and your tickets – on the Taste of Somerville website.
