East Somerville is the place to be for souvlaki on Wednesday, November 11th. From 8:30pm-12:00am, chef Brendan Pelley of Pelekasis Souvlaki Shop (though you may recognize him from the kitchen at Zebra’s or from his days on Hell’s Kitchen) will be serving up Greek cuisine at La Brasa. Foodstuffs will include wood oven baked pita, small plates, grilled skewers and maybe a few sweets from pastry chef Kendall Vanderslice. Let the folks at work know you might be a bit groggy in the morning, as there will be plenty of cheap beer and ouzo shots before the pop up winds down in the wee hours.
