Need a few ideas for what wine to serve alongside the Thanksgiving turkey? Luckily for all you stumped oenophiles out there the folks at Sonsie are hosting a special wine tasting on Monday, November 22nd, just in time for the annual holiday feast. Beginning at 7:00pm, the Newbury Street eatery will have four wines available from California’s Au Bon Climat Winery for eager patrons to sample – get a feel for what the Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and single vineyard Pinot Noir taste like before you commit to a bottle (or two). Just so that you have something in your belly beside wine, chef Bill Poirier will be on hand, serving light appetizers to pair with the beverages.
