Chef Karen Akunowicz steps in for the upcoming ShePartakes supper on Tuesday, February 7th. The Myers + Chang chef is partnering with SheGives, a network of professional women in the Greater Boston area that connects donors and nonprofits to fund good works. ShePartakes is a series of culinary goings-on that highlight the women of the local food, wine and hospitality scene. Akunowicz, who represented Boston in season 13 of Top Chef,  will serve a multi-course prix fixe with wine pairings that showcase female-owned or –operated estates. Dinner goes from 7:00-10:00pm and will be hosted by a member of SheGives—tickets are $500 each ($400 of which is tax-deductible) and can be purchased online here to help support the SheGives mission.
