On Thursday, September 17th, 26 local chefs gather to kick off the Taste of WGBH Food & Wine Festival with decadent eats and premium pours. The Chef’s Gala Reception showcases the culinary skills behind some of Boston’s best restaurants, paired with craft beers and wines from around the globe. The gustatory line-up includes spots like 80 Thoreau, Alta Strada, Beat Brasserie, Bergamot, Bisq, Bistro du Midi, Catalyst, dante, Deuxave, Il Casale, Island Creek Oyster Bar, L’Espalier, Met Back Bay, Pastoral, Puritan & Company, Rialto, Row 34, The Red Lion Inn, Tico, Townsman, Trade and Zephyr on the Charles. The tasting takes place from 7:00-10:00pm with live music from Steve Memmolo and the Classic Yellow.
