Meet Meat Man Ronnie Savenor

Savenor's

Chef Tony Maws of Craigie on Main is teaming up with master butcher Ronnie Savenor to cook the best steak (and probably the second best and the third best) you’ve ever had. On Wednesday, May 3rd, they’re serving Craigie’s steakhouse classics with Ronnie’s beef. Ronnie’s historic butcher shop, Savenor’s, provides the finest gourmet high-end meat (and was even favored by Julia Child herself). Offered on the menu: favorites like clams casino, shrimp cocktail, fancy pants wedge salad, Tuscan-style beef tartare and Ronnie’s cuts four ways (aged ribeye, hangar, flanken or teres major) accompanied by crispy onion rings. The four-course meal is available throughout the evening (starting at 5:00pm) for $125 per person, $180 per person with paired wines. Call 617.497.5511 to book a table.
