It’s time to eat the donuts. On Sunday, September 25th, Post 390 welcomes quite the line-up of pastry chefs, bakers and donut-makers to join them for the third annual Rise & Rumble Donut Throwdown. Get there at 12:00pm to lay a savory base at the brunch buffet and coffee/espresso bar before sampling your way through offerings from the sweets-making experts at Alden & Harlow, Bar Mezzana, Post 390, Flour, Johnson & Wales, Oak Long Bar, Puritan & Co., Tatte and Townsman. See if any of them can topple two-time winner Lauren Kroesser of Island Creek Oyster Bar and Eastern Standard, who’s also signed on to participate.
