Holiday Cooking with Chef Adams

On Sunday, December 6th, chef Jody Adams hosts a cooking class at Rialto to get you prepped for the holiday season. The Seven Fishes Cooking Class (seven, because Italian-American tradition dictates that’s what you serve on Christmas Eve) starts at 11:00am with coffee and scones before diving into the lesson. For the next two hours, you’ll learn to make crudo, bucatini neri and zuppa di pesce (see below for more info on the dishes and fishes). The two-hour class will be followed by a sit-down lunch with wine pairings from 1:00-2:30pm—tickets are $195 each (including the class and lunch), available online here.

Crudo… raw big eye tuna, tomato-blood orange relish & fried anchovies in sage leaves

Bucatini neri… squid ink pasta, octopus, squid and saffron peppers

Zuppa di Pesce… oyster, lobster and halibut stew, celery root cream, pancetta, caviar
