Pastry chef Jared Bacheller cut the professional (and proverbial) apron strings with L’Espalier a couple weeks ago but you can still sample the wares of the super talented confectioner at Jerika, his collaborative bakeshop pop-up with fellow L’Espalier alumna, Erika Chan. The pair have two back-to-back pop ups on the calendar: the Siena Farms storefront in the Boston Public Market on Sunday, July 10th and then at Rancatore’s temporary storefront at The Street in Chestnut Hill on Sunday, July 17th. They’ll be showcasing their skills with summery baked goods and unique ice cream flavors, respectively. Have a peek at some of the things they’re working on below and plan your pop-up outings accordingly.
