Local chefs are giving each other something to fry about at the next Boston Food Fight. The French fry-off takes place on Sunday, February 26th and Kirkland Tap & Trotter will host the culinary sparring. Kitchen champs Tony Maws (Craigie on Main), Will Gilson (Puritan & Co.), Steve “Nookie” Postal (Commonwealth) and Tiffani Faison (Sweet Cheeks Q) are bringing their best French fry game with the hopes of taking home the title. Tickets to the afternoon competition (2:00-4:00pm) are available online here for $20 each, including all the potato-y tastes, two free drinks and bites from Kirkland. Proceeds benefit Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry campaign, dedicated to taking childhood hunger down for the count.
