A Month of Soft Shell Crab

Met Back Bay maximizes soft shell crab’s short season with 31 days of seafood specials. Starting Monday, May 1st, the Newbury Street restaurant hosts their 12th annual Soft Shell Crab Festival, preparing the Maryland specialty a variety of ways for guests. Diners can opt for the crustacean fried, sautéed or prepared meunière-style (floured and served with brown butter, chopped parsley and lemon) for $28 per plate. Additionally, the chefs will have a soft shell crab po’ boy, available for $15 each. The sea-worthy dishes can be had through Wednesday, May 31st and dinner reservations (5:00pm on) can be made by calling the restaurant at 617.267.0451.
