Meet the Oyster Author

Chef Jeremy Sewall wrote the book on oysters. He and co-author Marion Lear Swaybill recently released Oysters: A Celebration in the Raw and you can hear from the Island Creek Oyster Bar chef at a series of upcoming author pop-ups. He’ll be at the Institute of Contemporary Art on Thursday, December 1st for a book signing, raw bar and shucking demo—stop by from 6:00-8:00pm for oyster talk and half-shell treats. Or, catch Sewall at Harvard Book Store on Tuesday, December 13th for a free shellfish discussion (including favorite holiday recipes) and book signing, starting at 7:00pm. The mollusk master will also make an appearance on Thursday, December 15th at the Brookline Public Library for a 7:00pm talk. That’s three free events where you can hear from the oyster pro and have your copy of the seafood guide signed.
