Get Down with the Hoedown

Lovelane

Swing your partner round and round, all in support of a good cause, at the 7th annual Hoedown food and music festival. On Saturday, September 24th, Boston chefs will be showcasing their culinary prowess at Duck Puddle Farm in Wayland. Chefs like Steve DiFillippo, Rodney Murillo, Carey Dobies, Israel Medina, Andy Husbands, Barbara Lynch, Jeff Pond, Keith Pooler, Dave Punch, Tatiana Pairot Rosana, Joshua Smith and Jason Tom will gather under the outdoor tent for a causal night (jeans and boots recommended) of culinary tasting. There will be beverages from Deep Eddy Vodka, Clown Shoes, Farmer Willie’s Ginger Beer, Harpoon, Narraganasett, 90+ Cellars and more, plus live music from folks like The Marshall Tucker Band. The hoedown benefits Lovelane, a therapeutic horseback riding program for children with special needs. Tickets for the 4:00-9:30pm event are $500 each, $375 each if buying six or more, or $200 each for those aged 21-35, available online here.
