In honor of Bastille Day the team at Bar Boulud is offering not une but deux specialty cocktails with which to toast French independence. Choose between the Louis XVI a chai tea-infused apple brandy with lemon, honey and bitters, and the Marie-Antoinette, which features cognac served with apricot brandy (a nod to her home country of Austria), sugar syrup and bitters. Both beverages will be available for $14 on Tuesday, July 14th. Of course, if you’d prefer to eat cake for Bastille Day, they’ll also be offering Madame of Versailles, a strawberry elderflower gateau presented with seasonal strawberries and enhanced with elderflower.
