On Saturday, June 3rd, the E-Som Market at La Brasa is celebrating their second birthday, and you’re invited! With drinks from The Automatic Food & Drink, Plantation Rum cocktails, and music from Cousin Dave Cagle, it’s going to be quite a party, and a great way to support local small businesses. E-Som Market is a monthly marketplace where local creatives and makers can meet, exchange ideas, and sell their wares. It began in 2015 as a tiny operation with four vendors and lots of heart in the La Brasa café space, and two years later has expanded to 16 participants filling the room with art, crafts, and handmade goods—they grow up so fast. The Market runs the first Saturday of the month (except when there’s a holiday) from 10:00am-3:00pm. Admission is free (but you should totally buy something).
