BISq’s chef Alex Saenz is bringing down-home flavors up the east coast with the restaurant’s first fried chicken and beer extravaganza. Formerly of South Carolina, Saenz will feature Southern favorites like biscuits, corn bread, cole slaw and – of course – crispy fried chicken on Sunday, February 19th. From 12:00-7:00pm, bird is the word, served with a slew of sauces, the aforementioned sides and suds from Narragansett. The chicken, and additional dishes from the BISq kitchen, will be the only menu offered that day — and can be taken to-go for those who want to enjoy the comfort foods in the comfort of their home.
