Say Slainte to St. Pat with Foundry on Elm and Saloon. The Davis Square restaurants will be celebrating St. Patrick’s Day on Thursday, March 17th with a la carte Irish specials. Upstairs at Foundry on Elm, chef Shayne Nunes will be serving us a Guinness-braised corned beef and cabbage dinner with roasted red potatoes, baby carrots and stone-ground mustard for $22 per plate. Down at Saloon, he’ll be offering bangers and roasted garlic mash with caramelized shallot beef gravy for $12 each—perfect for pairing with any of the bar’s Irish whiskey or a specialty cocktail, The Cardinal, with Jameson, Cardamaro, red wine and lemon ($11 each).
