On Wednesday, November 5th, Lumière is hosting their second annual farm benefit dinner for Newton Angino Community Farm in celebration of their 2008 growing season and barn restoration. The dinner, prepared with local produce, meats and seafood by chef Michael Leviton, consists of four courses and appropriate wine pairings. As this is an important fundraising event for the farm, tickets are priced at $150 per person but just so you know, proceeds will fund the farm’s mission to improve this historic open space site for the benefit of the community; provide local, sustainably grown produce; and educate the public about sustainable use of land and other natural resources – no small feat.
