Chef Jim Solomon, owner of The Fireplace, has released his fall-to-winter lineup of Fireside Chats, which take place every other Saturday from 3:00-4:15pm. You can cozy up at the Washington Square spot for drink and libation education from experts on topics like absinthe, New England whiskies and single malt scotch. Chat prices range from $25-30 and though reservations aren’t required, it’s never a bad idea to let them know you’re coming.
