A Ducky Dinner Menu

If it looks like a duck and it tastes like a duck, it must be the duck confit menu at 80 Thoreau. For a limited time – Wednesday, January 29th through Saturday, July 2nd – Chef Carolyn Johnson adds a two-course prix fixe to the offerings in the bar at 80 Thoreau. Reservations aren’t required, just snag a seat to start with a baby kale salad with strawberries, pistachios and guanciale, followed by the star of the show: crisp duck confit with lentil pancakes, rhubarb and almonds. The duo can be yours – accompanied by a glass of rose (Laurent Miquel, Cinsault 2016, to be specific) for $30, not including tax or gratuity).
