Calling all cheesemongers to Counter Culture, a free two-day seminar for those who work with cheese (or want to). Presented by Culture magazine, the events span Sunday, October 16th and Monday, October 17th at Community Work Services. Each of the days features presentations from international and local cheesemakers and discussions around special topics like the Art of Mongering and Cheese Science. On Sunday evening, the cheesy festivities move to the Boston Public Market for Meet the Maker: a private, industry-only tasting. From 4:30-6:30pm, guests can sample bites from 10+ producers (like Vermont Creamery, Laura Chenel and more) with cheese-friendly accompaniments and complimentary beer, wine and cider.
